Copywriting that Converts for Business Owners

Let’s face it…. We all want our copy to convert.

Whether it’s a blog post, email, website page, or product page, you want the words you’re using to be effective and drive results.

But writing copy that converts can be a challenge. You don’t want to be too salesy or pushy, but you also want to make sure your message is clear and your readers take action.

Don’t worry, though – there are some simple steps you can take to ensure your copy is conversion-friendly. Here’s a guide to writing copy that converts:

Know your Audience

The most important thing to remember when writing copy that converts is to know your audience. You need to know who you’re writing for, what their needs are, and how you can best address those needs. Take the time to research your target audience and develop a buyer persona. This will help you tailor your message and make sure it resonates with your readers.

Write a compelling headline.

Your headline is your first impression, so it needs to be catchy and grab the reader’s attention. It should clearly communicate the value of your content and make the reader want to keep reading. Think about what your readers need and write a headline that speaks directly to them.

Use actionable language.

Your copy should be easy to understand and contain language that encourages the reader to take action. Use words like “start”, “discover” and “unlock” to create a sense of urgency and make it easy for readers to take the next step.

Focus on benefits, not features.

When you’re promoting a product or service, focus on the benefits rather than the features. Talk about how it can help the reader solve their problem or make their life easier. Use storytelling to illustrate the benefits and make it easy for readers to envision how they’ll benefit from what you’re offering.

Use social proof.

Social proof is a powerful tool for building trust and credibility. Include testimonials, case studies, and reviews to show potential customers that others have had success with your product or service. This will help them understand the value of what you’re offering and make it easier for them to take the next step.

Incorporate visuals.

Visuals are a great way to break up text and make your copy more engaging. Incorporate images, video, GIFs, and other visuals to help illustrate your message and keep readers interested. This will make it easier for them to understand your content and help them make a decision.

Include a call to action.

Your call to action should clearly communicate the next step you want your readers to take. Whether it’s signing up for a newsletter, downloading an ebook, or making a purchase, your CTA should be easy to understand and make it easy for readers to take action.

Writing copy that converts doesn’t have to be a challenge. Just remember to keep your audience in mind, write a compelling headline, use actionable language, focus on benefits, include social proof, incorporate visuals, and include a call to action. With these tips, you’ll be well on your way to creating copy that converts.

Passive Income Society Review

Passive Income Society Review

Creating passive income has never been easier!

Are you tired of trying to figure out all the tips and tricks to make your Etsy store profitable? Tired of paying for expensive courses that get you nowhere fast. I get it, and you don’t need another course.

I’m short on time, how can I do this?

I work a full time job right now, because well…I need to live! I needed a way to start creating some additional income but didn’t have a ton of time to create all my products from scratch, do all the social media jazz and figure out all the ways to rank on Etsy. I also didn’t have $1,000 to pay for a course I wasn’t sure would make a difference anyway. I dabbled here and there, listed my first product….which by the way was NOT GOOD! Then I stumbled on a YouTube channel from Jessa Bellman. She created 18 Etsy stores that were selling, selling, selling….damn what’s her secret right? Clearly, she knows a thing or two!  So I binged her videos, learned about creating templates, and started to see what it takes to create a profitable Etsy store.

What do I get in the membership?

Jessa came out with this membership that includes her flagship course Etsy Super Star & The Course Creator’s Society. She also has the Template Creator’s Society. When you join Passive Income Society you have access to all three. In addition to that you’ll get a YouTube mini course, Pinterest Protégé and so much more! The membership is $49 a month…no commitment, that’s pretty darn doable! So I joined and it’s way more than I bargained for. So many templates with a very generous commercial you can get your store up and running at lightning speed, so many classes, a weekly Etsy audit, mockups for your products. Seriously so much more than you’d even get in a $1,000 course.

Jessa Bellman is the mastermind behind the Passive Income Society, & is on a mission to help people achieve financial freedom and live life on their own terms.  With her extensive knowledge and expertise, Jessa has created a membership program that provides you with the tools and resources you need to start building your passive income streams today.

What if I have questions?

The fun doesn’t stop there, in the Passive Income Society, you will have access to a community of like-minded individuals who are all on the same journey as you. From online courses, group coaching, weekly audits and more, Jessa will be there to guide you every step of the way. Whether you are looking to create a course or open a digital products shop, this is the only membership you’ll need…well that is unless Jessa decides to start something else, then all bets are off.

Can I see it?

Is Digital Planning Right for Me?

Is Digital Planning Right for Me?

Is Digital Planning right for me?

If you just discovered the world of digital planners, welcome to the club. I was a hard core paper planner girl. Loved the stickers, washi tape and all the markers and pens to make it beautiful. I always assumed that if I transitioned to digital planning I’d have to give that up. Well I’m here to tell you that is so not the case! You can still have fun with digital stickers and you have a world of pen and highlighter colors available in your Goodnotes app.

If you’re a newbie like I was, you may be asking, what is the Goodnotes app? You can download any annotation app on iphone or android device and it should support the digital file. Goodnotes is the most popular from my experience. It is a one time fee through the app store if you want to have more than three documents, but totally worth it in my opinion.

How does a digital planner compare?

Your digital planner will be fully hyperlinked so you can easily go from section to section. The great thing about planners like my Life Designer is that it contains far more than you could fit in a paper planner realistically. You can plan yearly, monthly, weekly and daily. It also includes tabs for goal planning, meal planning, event tracking and managing your health and fitness. Need to track birthdays? This planner has your back. Life Designer also allows you to add photos of your own and keep track of all the beautiful memories throughout the year.

My Life Designer Bundle also comes with a Vision Board Journal that allows you to add photos, draw, add quotes, whatever you decide you want to do. I have multiple styles so you are sure to find one that speaks to you.

Notion Digital Planner

There is also another digital planner that will knock your socks off. It’s a digital planner used with the Notion app. I have created a super simple planner using the free version of Notion that will allow you to plan your life. My Yearly Planner includes a calendar, weekly planner, daily planner and monthly budget. Also included is a gratitude journal so you focus on what is important every day. You can use this even if you are brand new to Notion. It’s super easy to install and I give step by step instructions.

You can change the covers to fit your style and add links you need, photos, recipes, whatever you need. You can make this planner fit your life in every way. You have access on your computer, tablet and phone, it syncs with all devices. This Yearly Planner is super affordable and on sale in my shop..grab it now before the sale ends.

I hope this was a good overview of digital planning and what is available. I’ll be adding some videos on my YouTube channel walking you through how to use a digital planner, so stay tuned for that!

Happy Planning!!
